I have a Yaesu FT1802m. It was about 2 inches or more on each side for approval and the need for cooling during long transfers. Is it possible to connect a 12V fan connected to the CPU cool? If not, then what I can do. I drive a single cab Chevy manual transmission and do not move a lot of space around the radio to a different place.
